The Spanish Gallery – El Castillo

Situated alongside The Spanish Gallery in Bishop Auckland, RDA’s brief was to thoughtfully design the galleries adjacent authentic tapas restaurant, El Castillo. This project allowed our interior design team to play with a rich array of tactile, luxurious products, including the traditional Spanish tiles, wooden panelling, blown glass light fittings, solid marble bar top and soft leather upholstery. The result, a stunning space in which to drink and dine, reflecting the rich history of the Spanish art found in the gallery next door.
