RDA brought a taste of the high street to University of Wolverhampton creating a new vegetarian and free from outlet.
About Wolverhampton University
University of Wolverhampton has already invested more than £125 million into campus developments and teaching facilities. As part of its refurbishment of the main foyer, it recently appointed RDA to create two innovative dining spaces to complement its wide and varied catering offer.
The new vegetarian and free from outlet, situated inthe George Wallis building, School of Arts had to compliment the newly refurbished foyer. Our designers used a reclaimed wood look with Corian work tops to provide a fresh, natural yet modern look and feel in keeping with the new area.
Our team also designed and installed a new coffee shop at the University’s award-winning Science Park, which is already a bustling hub for almost-90 cross-industry companies.
The contemporary, oak-effect new coffee bar provides a welcome retreat for busy workers serving Bewley’s coffee offer, cake and hot and cold snacks. To add an element of fun and emphasise the nature of the building, our designers also created a special version of the periodic table as a splash back wall.
Louise Ward, Business Development Manager at RDA, said: “It’s been a pleasure to work with University of Wolverhampton. They are an extremely forward-thinking university and we were delighted to create a dining offer which reflects that and matches what the high street can offer.”
