RDA was recently appointed by Levy Lesiure to create a new castle kiosk to sit within Hever Castle’s newly opened adventure playground.
RDA’s team of design experts worked with the leading sports and hospitality caterer, to build a shipping container kiosk, which was based on the Tudor Towers play area. The pair worked in partnership to create an operationally efficient, commercially viable, bespoke solution for Hever Castle which enhances the customer experience.
Tudor Towers Adventure Playground is a nine-metre tall wooden play castle, bigger than a four-bedroom house and complete with its own moat, drawbridge and three turrets! Set in the stunning grounds of Hever Castle in Kent, which was once the childhood home of Anne Boleyn – King Henry VIII’s second wife, it’s been a huge hit with young and old alike since its recent opening.
Neil Addyman, Director at RDA said : “Our team created a castle aesthetic for the exterior completely transforming the shipping container into a mini castle, using organic materials. An ambient glass counter to display cakes and biscuits and a Barista coffee machine were also installed.
“The result is a welcoming kiosk in keeping with the castle play area, which offers children and their families a selection of teas, coffees and snacks as well as ice creams and cold drinks for those warm summer days.”
