We were delighted to help a new charitable project, alongside many other local businesses, by providing a free design service for the build of the Life Kitchen Project.
The Life Kitchen
Recently opened in Sunderland and launched by TV Chef Nigella Lawson, The Life Kitchen, is a fantastic project which offers a cookery school to cancer patients.
Life Kitchen teaches its students how to prepare fresh meals they can still enjoy whilst undergoing chemotherapy, which affects the taste buds.
Paul Humble, Project Director for Turner Townsend, who coordinated the project said : “Thank you for all of the help that Restaurant Design Associates provided to develop the project – it is greatly appreciated. The support of the region’s business organisations was overwhelming and the finished Lodge looks fantastic.”
